8th Annual South O Car Show
South Oceanside Elementary School PTO is excited to announce that our 8th annual South O Hot Rod, Rat Rod, Custom Car, Bike & Boat Show will be happening on Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 9am – 3pm. This Car and Bike and Boat Show is a great event: great cars, awesome motorcycles, vendors, entertainment, food, and tons of fun for everyone, student to car enthusiast.

Oceanside Athletic Club Grand Opening
Join Downtown Oceanside’s most affordable martial arts fitness studio this Saturday. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. enjoy face painting, dozens of giveaways, raffle prizes, a gaming station, a bounce house, free 30-minute adult and youth classes, food pop-ups and a Martial Arts Exposé you can watch to the beat of a live DJ.
Activities will take place both in the gym, and in our parking lot. The 918 business park, along with local businesses have partnered with us to make this an event you won’t want to miss. Enjoy music, food, games, challenges, raffles, & more. Join us in celebrating our Ribbon Cutting Event with the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce.

Write On, Oceanside! Literary Festival
The 11th annual literary festival returns Saturday to celebrate and inspire local authors. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., there will be an Author Showcase & Book Fair, Children’s Storytime and Crafts, Writers’ Open Mic and Never-ending Story. Join the library at 3 p.m. for a special online presentation of the All Sides of Oceanside Writing and Video Challenge.
This Free event is being held at Civic Center Plaza
“Everything Must Go” Used Book Sale – Friends of Library
The Friends of the Oceanside Public Library is moving out of their current location and need to clear out all the current inventory. Shop their Book Sale this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. behind the Civic Center Library. All money raised will help fund many Library programs and services as well as purchase much needed books and materials.
This Free event is being held at 602 Civic Center Drive

September 17-19: The 15th Annual Nissan Super Girl Surf Pro
The 3-day event features surf contests, celebrity surf invitational, 20 live concerts, festival village, Super Girl Gamer Pro esports tournament and more!
The world’s top professional female surfers — including members of the first-ever USA Olympic Surfing Team — will be back in Oceanside for the 15th annual Nissan Super Girl Surf Pro, a World Surf League (WSL) Women’s Qualifying Series (QS).
Pro Surfers, including Carissa Moore, Caroline Marks, Sage Erickson, Tatiana Weston-Webb, Tia Blanco (The Ultimate Surfer TV series) and former local champs, Caitlin Simmers (Oceanside) and Samantha Sibley (San Clemente) are expected to compete. Plus, celebrity surfers, music artists + more!
September 18, – 19: Oceanside Harbor Days
The Oceanside Chamber of Commerce along with Tri-City Medical Center and Genentech present Oceanside Harbor Days at the Oceanside Harbor. Featuring arts and craft exhibits, great food and fun activities for the entire family. The event is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. both days.
Two event filled days of sun, sand, and surf provide an outstanding opportunity for residents and neighbors to experience fun activities such as a costume party for kids 12 and under (accompanied by parents) at Capt’n Junebug’s Kids Zone where they’ll meet local pirates and mermaids. Other activities include Arts, Crafts and Food booth areas, Military, Public Safety displays, music, a beer garden (patrons 21-years old and over with a valid ID showing proof of age required to enter) and more.
Saturday, October 2: Taste Of Oceanside
Downtown Oceanside’s premier culinary experience. Taste your way through Oceanside’s exciting food and brew scene one bite and sip at a time for $45 (food only) or $60 (food plus beer and wine tastings). The Friday night VIP Party also returns on Oct. 1 featuring a special guest chef, light fare with refreshments and live entertainment. VIP tickets are $125 and include a combo ticket for the Saturday event.
Friday, October 8: 40 Years of KOCT Celebration Fundraiser
KOCT Television is celebrating a 40 Year Legacy at the KOCT Television Soundstage in Oceanside, CA, and we would love for you to join us for a historic evening of live entertainment, silent auctions, raffles, dancing, studio tours, and friendship. Bring a friend to enjoy the evening!
The Celebration starts at 6PM and ends at 9PM on Friday, October 8th at the KOCT Television Studios. Price per person is $40 for 40 Years. Space is limited, purchase your tickets early!
