A middle-aged man was found, nude, 40 to 50 yards offshore.
CARLSBAD, Calif. — City of Carlsbad and State Parks’ lifeguards responded to Carlsbad State Beach Thursday morning for a water rescue/drowning and found a man’s body 40 to 50 yards offshore.
The man, believed to be between 45 and 55 years old, was found nude.
“The death investigation has been turned over to Carlsbad Police Department’s Homicide Unit,” Jorge Moreno, a spokesman with California State Parks, told News 8.
