Dan loved music from childhood, and that love of music led to a long and amazing career. Beginning at the age of 14 he was already playing organ in many local Johnstown bands. His career spanned retail, wholesale, corporate management, and ownership of a small family piano store. He was employed as a regional sales manager for Baldwin Piano and Organ for many years. After Baldwin he joined the executive team of Technics Musical Instruments and ended his career as the company’s General Manager of U.S. Operations. He also taught middle school technology for 7 years before retiring. Dan enjoyed lending his music ability in worship to his lord and savior, and many churches were blessed by his talent. He enjoyed watching sports, especially the Steelers and the Penguins, spending time with friends, bandmates, and watching the clouds from his swing on the back porch. Most importantly he was a loving and dedicated son, husband, father, grandfather brother, uncle, and friend. He was true gentleman, and a man of great faith and integrity.
