CARLSBAD, CA โ A special summer edition of the Carlsbad Street Faire is slated to return Sunday to the Carlsbad Village.
The community event will feature more than 600 vendors, international foods and children’s rides. Hosted by the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce, the Carlsbad Village Street Faire will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Grand Avenue from Carlsbad Boulevard to Jefferson Street.
Several streets in the village will be closed during the event. The following streets are scheduled to be closed from roughly 4 a.m. to 8 p.m.:
- Grand Avenue from Carlsbad Boulevard to Jefferson Street
- Washington Street from Carlsbad Village Drive to Grand Avenue
- State Street from Carlsbad Village Drive to Beech Street
- Roosevelt Street from Carlsbad Village Drive to the alley south of Beech Street
- Madison Street from Carlsbad Village Drive to Grand Avenue
- Christiansen Way between State Street and the east side of the Carlsbad Coaster Station entrance
- All the alleys in between the above streets
Parking will be limited. General and disabled parking spaces will be available in the area surrounding the event.
Free shuttle service will be provided at the southwest corner of The Shoppes at Carlsbad at 2525 El Camino Real, and at the Poinsettia Coaster Station at 6511 Avenida Encinas. Shuttles will run every 20-30 minutes between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., according to the city.
